Marvel Baby Groot Tattoo

Frequently Asked Questions

Galactic Ink Transfer Tattoos are a form of body art, which allows a design to adhere to the skin on a temporary basis.  Within three to seven days time the tattoo will begin to fade and eventually disappear.  The features of the tattoo can be maintained for a further length of time, if proper care is taken.

Q – Now that I have received my tattoos, how do I put them on?

A – To help the temporary tattoos last as long as possible, it is important to first clean the area of skin where the tattoo is to be applied.  The best application is to use 90% rubbing alcohol, and apply it to the skin with a cotton ball or washcloth.  If rubbing alcohol is not available, even soap and water will work to clean the skin, but not as well.  Then, pat the skin dry with a towel.  Make sure the skin is completely dry before attempting to apply the tattoo.  The next step is to remove the temporary tattoo from the plastic bag it arrived in.  Hold the tattoo so that the image is facing you, and then gently peel the plastic cover off of the face of the tattoo.  Turn the tattoo over so that the image is facedown, and then apply it directly to the portion of exposed skin where you want the tattoo to go.  It is important that the image comes in direct contact with the skin.  The back of the tattoo has written instructions that explain these same steps, and that should be face up toward you.  Apply a wet cloth directly to the back of the tattoo and hold in place for at least 30 seconds.  Remove the cloth and gently check to see if the back of the tattoo will peel away easily.  If there is any resistance, apply the damp cloth again, and hold it tight for another few seconds.  Then check again to see if the back will come away easily.  If it does, you will be looking at your brand new temporary tattoo.

Q – I only want to transfer the character image as a temporary tattoo, but at the top of the tattoo card is the logo from the movie, and at the bottom is the MARVEL copyright.  What if I don’t want those to show?  How do I keep them from transferring onto my skin along with the character image?

A – Before applying the tattoo image face down onto your skin, take a pair of scissors and carefully cut off the top portion of the card with the movie logo, and the bottom portion of the card with the copyright information.  That way, only the character image will remain on the card and that is what will transfer to your skin once water is applied.

Q – How long will the temporary tattoos last?

A – Typically 3-7 days depending on your skin type and how well you take care and maintain them.

Q – What does skin type have to do with how long a temporary tattoo lasts?

A – Skin with larger pores will typically hold the temporary tattoo image for a longer period of time.

Q – How do you take care of and maintain a temporary tattoo?

A – Once applied, allow the temporary tattoo to completely dry.  Then, try to keep the image from contact with clothing, or applying lotion, oil or sunscreen to it.  If the tattoo becomes wet, pat it dry with a clean paper towel. Do not rub it as friction will remove the ink.  To help the image last longer you can use talcum powder, cornstarch or cosmetic sealant to protect tattoo.  If you choose to do so, apply the powder to a wide, soft cosmetic brush, and gently dust it across the tattooed area.  Try to avoid sleeping on the tattoo, and do not allow tight clothing to rub against it.

Q – If I want to remove the temporary tattoo before it wears off, how do I do that?

A – To remove the temporary tattoo, simply apply rubbing alcohol directly to the image.  It usually works best if you apply the rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and then gently move the cotton ball back and forth across the image until it disappears.

Q – What ingredients are used in making the temporary tattoos?

A – The following ingredients are used in making the temporary tattoos:  Acrylates Copolymer, Linseed Oil / Glycerin / Isophthalic Acid / Rosin Copolymer (Linseed Oil, Polymer With Glycerol, Isophthalic Acid And Rosin), Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil, Aleurites Fordii (Tung) Kernel Oil, Pentaerythritol / Rosin / Maleic Anhydride Copolymer (Rosin, Maleated, Polymer With Pentaerythritol), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Mineral Oil / Huile Minérale /Paraffinum Liquidum, May contain Peut Contenir / Puede Contener: Titainium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Iron Oxides (Ci 77499), Blue 1 (Ci 42090, Red 7 (Ci 15850).

Q – When I delete an item from the shopping cart, it still appears or a previous item appears. How do I clear the shopping cart?

A – This can be caused by old data being stored in your computer’s browser. Refreshing the browser should clear the cart of deleted items.
